Very interesting piece. Loved the intro especially. It sounded like a buildup piece you might hear at the beginning of a theme park show or something.
Great job.

Thank you!

Nice - I use Edirol myself occasionally but wasn't able to tell just from the track.
I liked the buildup especially. The sound overall seemed a bit too much in the higher ranges but it might just be the samples ( instruments in the beginning, for example, could have used a bit more bass).

haloflooder responds:

Thanks for the review! I'll do something about that :)

Nice work on both the arrangement and production quality. Really enjoy the amount of depth you have in the sound, especially with a good set of earphones.

Fun to listen to, very upbeat. Reminded me a little of Waterflame's stuff - not sure if you heard his tracks before.

Very nice, definitely fits the feel of the Nolan's Batman films. It also reminds me of some of NickPerrin's work, namely "Silent Guardian". Might be handy to check out some of his stuff too.

Liked the suspense building throughout, especially once the strings come in at :43. What samples did you use for this piece?

Really enjoyed the improvisation - good job. I agree with the comment about not enough of Hyde but it's not a bad thing with the piece itself - just was expecting a bit more contrast, and perhaps a second competing melody, from the title.

DaveValentine responds:

Thanks so much for the comment. It's difficult in a piece like this to keep a main melody going, while also trying to link in completely contrasting natures. I've tried playing it again recently, and Jekkyl always seems to win, haha.

Really liked the instrumentation and amount of detail put into this one, as NorskeDrittsekk mentioned. Good job

CFox responds:

Thanks, I'm glad people noticed the detail, it takes extra time but I think it's worth it!

Couldn't tell it was a horrible computer so no worries there.

Nothing wrong with the piece but it could've used some more contrast, kind of like what you brought in towards the end. The transition at 30-sec, for example, seemed like a good place change things up a little but then it just continued on.

Overall a good song though - liked the buildup at the beginning especially.

AshleyAlyse responds:

You know, at 0:28 I had a different part which kind of sounded like the end. I didn't think it sounded too good, but maybe that's just my thinking. I might put it back in. :) Thank you so much for your review! :D

Very nice - it even forms a perfect loop.
Can't wait to hear the finished work. :)

AshleyAlyse responds:

I will PM you if I make it into a full song! :D Thank you!

I can't play an instrument to save my life, but I can keep pecking at those notes until I get them right! :P
