I agree with the below about the melody being a bit cliche, but the production quality is so good here (as with most of your songs) that it more than makes up for that.

Funny to hear that you just got a decent set of speakers - shows that you really don't need so much equipment to produce sometimes, just to consume.

Enjoyed the listen - thanks for sharing.

Thanks!
You don't really need much fancy equip. But It can help you fine tune and prepare a mix/song properly for all mediums such as cinema, tv, phones, etc. My latest track "My Dear friend.." was made with using only my headphones.. My speaker-cables crashed and burned you see :D

Nice, very catchy lol :D
Really liked the shift at 2:00 - good change of pace. Would've been interesting to see the piano come back at the end too though but I'm not sure how much space there is for that.

Just curious, what do you use to make the clap?

DaveValentine responds:

That's a good idea mate, could give that a try! I use Kontakt 5, some nice claps in there :)

Excellent work - don't know why it got downvoted.

Great stuff - actually liked your older works a lot and was wondering if you'd ever make more like them.

Bosa responds:

Well here you are, sir.

Very nice piece. Always wondered what the name of the song was - heard the melody but never the name.

I though it was pretty interesting. It immediately makes me think of the classic horror films or halloween.

Some of the notes seem a bit odd though after about a minute, in particular the repetitions seem too fast or don't fit the instruments you're using. Also couldn't really get a sense of the chase or escape here, nor some sort of lead into the ending. It kind of just ends there.

Good job though and looking forward to hearing more. :)

Picks up a lot about mid-way. Enjoyed it - very suspenseful.
Depends on your intent for the piece (it's probably fine as a background score or atmospheric piece), but I also thought there could have been more of a theme going or follow up on the melodies already played out. It was a bit hard to pick up on where the song was going at times.

Pretty nice like you said. The melody is pleasant and very easy to listen to.
The song could slow down a bit though before looping as the string seems to cut off.

guildassasan responds:

Like i said, it's a work in progress, so eventually i will update it with more to it. But i appreciate the feedback nonetheless ^_^

Mostly agree with descara here. The piece starts and ends nicely but the middle is a bit cluttered.

TequilaShot responds:

I'll keep on studying about voice leading and orchestral composition so I'll try to improve on cleaning up that cluttering sound. Thanks for the positive rating ^^

Really enjoy your piano pieces, good job.
Hear a bit of Jekyll in this one also. :P

DaveValentine responds:

Haha, just a little bit! I like using the same keys and chords, I just love the sound it makes!

I can't play an instrument to save my life, but I can keep pecking at those notes until I get them right! :P
